I’m learning that there is beauty in stillness, that just because I think it doesn’t make it right, being patient is important and forgiveness is always an option. It’s a real work in progress for me—I am not saying that I am good at it (Ha!!!). I am willing to continually keep working on it though. 😀

Unfortunately, we don’t always get the proper heart power fuel that we need. Happy moments of bliss are fleeting, like the day my youngest daughter asked, “Do you know how much I love you?” and answered her own question with, “The tallest number ever. The one we can't count to.” Those exchanges lift our soul for hours ahead but, as we know, inevitably the darker days can come. I think it’s safe to say, we can all appreciate having a bad day, a bad week, a bad month, a bad year (or several bad years). Life is certainly not all about dreams and tambourines. Sometimes we get squeezed. It reminds me of the orange analogy: If you squeeze an orange, what comes out? Orange juice. Never apple juice or grapefruit juice or lemonade... it’s always going to be orange juice. Why? Because that’s what’s inside. If we relate that to a human—when squeezed (someone has said or done something hurtful to us or we are faced with stressful situations), what comes out of us? Anger, fear, bitterness, resentment?? Hopefully not. As hard as these days can be, I am focusing on what’s inside and always trying to think happy.
