Corwin and the “Daily Doodle” are six months old 😁

The Daily Doodle... is six months old today!!! This was the very first image I posted. I have posted a picture of this little character every single day since on my Facebook page and Chris Carr Ink Facebook page . I am sure some folks are downright sick of seeing Corwin (ha!!! 😌).

As the story goes, on December 31st (my birthday) my sister, Sharon, gave me a present—a box of 80 craft cards and some very cool markers. She said, “I want you to do something with this.” Recognizing I had always been a doodler, she granted me the needed nudge of confidence. Well... I busted out about 75 different images within a couple of days. With the encouragement of my family and friends, I decided to re-draw 15 images and have them professionally printed. Donna Krasnow Evans was the driving force that led me to Stanley R. Reuter at Allegra Design Marketing Print. The day I picked up that first order, I thought I would cry. At first, we thought we’d sell them through Facebook and Etsy but then my dear pal, Joel Evans guided me to the idea of creating a WIX website. With his patient and delightfully smart mind, was born.

The fact that this turned into a greeting card adventure makes my heart truly smile. Many friends encouraged me to get Corwin on t-shirts, stickers, and other merch options. The messages that were written to me over the past few months explaining the joy they have felt when sending Corwin cards always makes my face smile wide. It’s beautiful in every way. Little things matter. Small gestures of kindness change people. A simple hand written card can have magical powers on a person’s heart—seriously. The fact that I have a little something to do with that sort of exchange is never taken for granted. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the love... and okease continue to visit and share this site with others 🥰#grateful
